In fall 2019, BRIC Architecture assembled a team of planners, architects, and engineers to conduct comprehensive building condition assessments of Reynolds School District’s educational and administrative/support facilities. These assessments established a baseline of facility conditions across the District and continue to inform long-range planning efforts. The 2019 assessments were conducted by a team that included multiple state-certified school building condition assessors, ensuring compliance with OAR 581-027-0040. The assessments encompassed a full range of building and site features, including interior and exterior systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, ADA compliance, and technology systems. Site conditions were also documented, including drainage issues, pavement conditions, and features such as parking lots, dropoff areas, walkways, and covered play spaces.
In December 2025, the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) completed updated school building condition assessments for the District. These assessments provided a more recent snapshot of facility conditions and were considered alongside the 2019 data to inform current planning and prioritization efforts.
